Maureen has been a resident of Island Heights for over 10 years. She and her husband recently built a home in Island Heights so their children can continue to attend the school.  Her two children and step-son attend Island Heights Grade School. Maureen has over 12 years experience in education.  Currently she teaches 7th and 8th grade Math and Science (Special education and General Education). She holds degrees in Psychology, Special Education and Elementary Education.  Maureen is passionate about the conservation of our environment.  She enjoys running, outdoor activities and spending time at the beach.
